IMC "Fast Track" COURSE PROGRAMME

START	MORNING Long briefings: classroom based.	AFTERNOON Flight: brief & debrief at airfield.	PRIVATE STUDY Ground School Study Package, and Simulator practice.
DAY 1	Registration: Introduction to full panel instrument flying techniques.	1 hour	Progress test paper 1
DAY 2	Introduction to advanced Instrument Flying techniques, and limited panel flight.	1 hour	Progress test paper 2
DAY 3	Intro. to Advanced Radio Navigation, and use of the ADF/NDB/VOR/GPS.	2 hours	Progress test paper 3
DAY 4	Holding procedures: flights to Swansea or Shobdon airfields.	3 hours	Progress test paper 4
DAY 5	Instrument approaches and landing (SRA/NDB/DME): flights to Glos, or Coventry.	3 hours	Progress test paper 5
DAY 6	Instrument approaches and landing (ILS/DME): flights to Wellesbourne, Oxford, Coventry or Cardiff airports.	2 hours	Progress test paper 6
DAY 7	Instrument approaches and landing (ILS/GPS RNAV): flights to Glos, Coventry, Oxford, Cardiff or Cherboug.	3 hours	Progress test paper 7
	TOTAL ON COURSE	15 Hours	IMC Written Exam paper
Day 8	FLIGHT TEST From airfield	1.5 hours
