The SEP (Sea) Class Rating, Seamanship Theory,
Seaplane Operations programme covers all aspects of the Private
and Professional Seamanship written examinations.
Note: Our PPL level seamanship exam distance learning pack includes
all the study material you need including the recommended reference
texts.
The course is conducted by a Flight Instructor/Commercial Seaplane
pilot and CAA Examiner who will guide you through the course material
ensuring that all relevant areas are covered in depth, including
practical advice on seaplane operations and professional examination
preparation where required. At the end of the training day you
will be able to confidently sit the Private or Professional Seamanship
written examination.
The Professional Seamanship written examination is only conducted
at CAA Examination Centres based in the UK. Please contact CAA
Examination Bookings for details of venues and prices.
All ground school courses are conducted at our dedicated training
Centre, with a full range of AV, computer facilities, and aviation
reference materials available, or at our Cardiff Airport seminar
rooms.
